Imperial Music originally traded between 1996 and 2004 on Park Street in Bristol, where we established a reputation based on friendly, informative service and a passion for the music we stocked. After eight years as one of busiest independent music stores in the country, we were forced to close after an enormous rent hike from our lovely landlord.
The good news is we are back open again; after an extended break in the Highlands, we opened a new shop in Inverness on April 9th 2009, and things are going swimmingly. The good folk of Inverness have welcomed us so warmly that we feel a little moved! As time progresses, we aim to develop both the stock holding and our web presence, with the hope that mail order will be possible from a secure site.
Until then, we are doing mail order by phone, so please ring for availability on anything you're looking for, or call in if you're in the area. We have a worldwide ordering service in place, so why not try us out for those hard-to-find items that youve been after for yonks? You may be surprised!
